- Stock #[removed phone] Offshore Center Console is a true crossover boatAs written in powerboatguide.com:The Pursuit 2870 Offshore Center Console is a true crossover boat in that she combines the recessed walkways and efficient cabin layout of a walkaround design with the centerline helm position of a traditional center-console fisherman. The result is a very innovative boat able to satisfy the demands of anglers and cruisers alike. Built on a proven deep-V hull, there is much to like about the layout of the 2870 Offshore. The cockpit is intelligently arranged with a large in-floor fish box, rod holders, and a transom bait and rigging station with cutting board and sink. The leaning post incorporates a 26-gallon livewell, and the aft-facing jump seat next to the helm sits atop a five-drawer tackle center. Note the huge sub-deck storage compartment just aft of the console for batteries, water tanks, and oil reservoirs. A tilt-away helm provides easy access to wiring and gauges. Belowdecks, the compact cuddy cabin contains all the basics including a removable table, mini galley with sink and stove, and marine head. Please submit any and ALL offers - your offer may be accepted! From Seller:
The boat is in very good shape and the motors run perfectly. Every year I have put in a new water pump, cleaned the VST filter, inline filter, new spark plugs and put in new 2 Micron Racors. The 2 Micron Racors make a world of difference in keeping the motors clean since they are such a fine filter.
I have always changed the lower unit fluid and checked the seals every year, there has never been any water intrusion into the units. I also decarb the motors every 50 hours so that there is not any carbon buildup.
Both props were sent to Bossler and Sweezy on Long Island to be re-hubbed and gone over. They do a great job and have an excellent reputation.
Both motors received new top ends after a bad batch of gas. The new powerheads were installed by a Yamaha dealer and at which time they went over the entire motor to make sure everything was in great shape. I have the invoices in my paperwork and I believe it was about $8 thousand per motor. They did not skimp on anything that they did as they have a great reputation and desire to uphold it. Motors have somewhere in the neighborhood of [removed phone] hours, I am just waiting for an exact number after I have the computers looked at. (Original hour meters on the hull show approx 1050 hours for the life of the boat. That includes the key just being on if someone leaves it, on both these motors and the original motors)
The electronics on board include:
-Garmin 3210 GPS/Chartplotter (XM equipped for xm radio, SST, weather)
-Raymarine A65 Sonar
-Fusion Stereo (Linked to XM radio through the Garmin for satellite radio no matter where you are)
-Spotlight, remote control on helm to rotate and change from spotlight to flood light
-Rupp Outriggers
-Flood light on stern
-Blue courtesy lights for the cockpit area
-White/Red overhead light for the captain/center console.
-Simrad AP11 autopilot (powers up great and the screen is clear but the mode button is not working, I am told it is dirty inside from use and just needs to be taken apart and the contact needs to be cleaned)
-VHF linked up to GPS for distress calls.
-Windlass
-Raritan PHE II electric toilet with 20 gallon holding tank.
-Bennett Hydraulic trim tabs
-Livewell under leaning post
-New Navigation lights
-I have a battery charger in the box that needs to be installed.
I just re-upholstered the bolster pads in the cockpit.
6 Person life boat that has a bracket on the T-top (needs to be recertified)
20 gallon freshwater tank with hose in transom sink Saltwater Wash down
The bottom paint was all removed two years ago down to the gelcoat and I put on 4 coats of Interlux Interprotect barrier coat, followed by green hard paint and then black ablative so that I could see where the ablative wore off. This also reduces any paint build-up so I have better gas mileage.
New Trident A1 fuel lines were installed a few months ago.
2 Aluminum tanks both 118 gallons and have valves so either tank can go to either motor.
Wrap around Eisenglass curtains and a cockpit cover as well to keep the cockpit nice and clean when not in use.
2004 Triple Axle Magic Tilt ALUMINUM trailer that received all new leaf springs 2 years ago.
Survery was done in March 2012. The following is from the survey: The bottom was sounded with a phenolic hammer (a tool used to detect voids, separations, delamination, areas of deterioration, etc.) and found to be sound. No signs of blistering were noted in the gel coat. All underwater fittings and running gear were found to show no signs of deterioration due to corrosion or galvanic action.
The propeller blades were observed for proper alignment and both propellers were noted to turn true. The topsides (hull sides) were inspected and found to be sound, showing no signs of hard or abusive use.
